THE NIGHT LETTER

An Afghan teenage girl, Yalda, disguises herself as a boy to attend school and dreams of freedom. When she secures an exchange program spot in America, she finds a second family, but a threatening letter from the Taliban forces her host mother, Annette, to make a life-changing decision to save her.​
